Following years of Research & Development, Rising Sun first launched its Post-Edited Machine Translation Service for Chinese Language National and World Patents back in September 2007. This development was accompanied by the introduction of Chinese versions of our other flagship products, namely Lightly-Edited Machine Translations, Draft Quality Translations and Best Quality Translations in November that year.
Although initially these services were only for patents, the Draft Quality and Best Quality Translation Services were extended in January 2008 to cover Research papers and articles as well.
As of February 2009, we are pleased with the ever increasing repeat business we are winning from the usual big name Pharma and Chemical firms in our sector, and are developing plans to expand our areas of coverage over the coming months.
The translation methodology is the same as for our Japanese translations. Scientific knowledge and checking are paramount factors in all our work. The quality of our work results in more repeat business, and with nearly all new business being won by recommendation, Rising Sun is going from strength to strength.
Chinese translation prices are comparable with but somewhat higher than our Japanese to English service on an English word count basis.
