BEST SERVICE TRANSLATIONS AND DRAFT TRANSLATIONS
Best Service Translations are checked by two other people in addition to the actual translator. For Patents, Draft / Rough Translations cost half the price of Best Service Translations, are checked only by the translator himself and are for when the budget is low and accuracy is unimportant.
Papers, Trials and Clinical Trials are more expensive because there tends to be much less text repetition. Best Service Translations are for when accuracy is required and are of a standard suitable for pharmaceutical regulatory purposes. Please note all work required within 5 working days must be booked in.  The fees for Best Service Translations are as follows. Clients may choose to be billed per 55 keystrokes or per 1000 words in the translation product,  or per 1000 Japanese characters in the source document. Discounts are available to Clients purchasing more than Euros 30,000 translation per year.

WO Patents: €6 per page of source document (minimum charge of €450).
JP Patents: €450 - 1500 costed on a case by case basis.

RUSH RATES
Depending on demand, all work required in 3 days or less may be subject to a surcharge.

UPGRADES
Upgrades are possible from a lower standard to a higher standard of translation. Unless the lower grade was or should have been subject to a rush charge under normal circumstances, the whole price billed for the lower grade of service will be deducted from the higher grade of service purchased. With the exception of Machine to Post-Edited Machine upgrades, upgrades of client selected parts of translations will otherwise be billed on a pro-rata basis, but see the Minimum Charge Section.

CONSULTANCY / TIMED ASSISTANCE
Telephone assistance or help with selection of areas of text for translation. €120 / hour charged in €30 / 15 min sections, but again see minimum charge.

MINIMUM CHARGES
A minimum charge of €100 - 450 applies depending on product for each separate service and/or patent specification in each order (whichever is the higher). Minimum charge of €375 applies for full text of Patents.
