Form 1 is for Patent requests only. Form 2 is for requests for Patents or Articles.

Form 1

In the case of Japanese unexamined and PCT patent publications, please enter the year of the patent in the first box (but just as a two digit number in the case of a pre-year 2000 patent, eg. 03 or 91), followed by the remainder of the number preceded by as many zeros as necessary so the second part forms a six digit number. For examined Japanese publications and Chinese patent numbers, please put the whole number in the second box.

The following box can also be used to enter details of articles required for quotation or translation, or for additional information such as for example, YOUR ORDER NUMBER (if needed), or in the case of patents for example, "please translate just the Claims", "translate just the Examples", "machine translate the body and Post-Edit the Claims" etc. Please note, in addition, if you include the Assignee in the case of patents, this can help us pick up any number errors made at your end and could prevent a wrong order being placed.
